The 2019 Hyundai Ioniq is Hyundai's response to customer requests for a fully electric model of Hyundai to be added to our lineup, and the Ioniq does not disappoint. The Ioniq is currently available in in 3 versions: The Hybrid (which gets up to 58 combined MPG), the Electric (Boasting a 124 mile range) and finally, the Plug-in Hybrid which can achieve up to a 630 mile range with EV/Gas combined, making it the most efficient electric vehicle currently available.Â

Similar to the Kia Niro, the Ioniq is a full frontal assault on the electric vehicles and hybrids of the world. Packing plenty of power under it's Eco-friendly hood, the Ioniq hybrid and the plug-in version pack a 104-hp 1.6-liter Atkinson-cycle inline four engine and a 6-speed dual clutch automatic transmission. The Ioniq also speeds up faster than it's predecessors, going from zero to 60 in approximately 8.9 seconds.
Just because the Ioniq is eco-friendly doesn't mean that you have to sacrifice space or comfort either. There are tons of small item storage nooks throughout the cabin, including a narrow console bin help hold your glasses and need-to-keep-near accessories while the 60/40 split backspace adds additional room to store everything you need. In total, the cargo hold measures a roomy 26.5 cubic feet!
