2011-2012 Hyundai Sonata Engine Recall Information in Tampa, Florida

Hyundai Motor America is currently conducting a safety recall. This is in relation to the engine assembly in Model Year 2011 and 2012 Hyundai Sonata vehicles - specifically Sonatas equipped with 2.0 liter turbo and 2.4 liter gasoline direct injection (GDI) engines. These particular vehicles were manufactured at Hyundai's plant in Alabama.

Hyundai has directed this recall in order to keep its drivers and customers safe and prevent further issues in the future. As a result of this recall, we will inspect, and, if necessary, replace the vehicle's engine assembly.
