5 common questions answered
NHTSA-reported recalls for the 2020 Hyundai Elantra involve three areas that deserve prompt attention. Insufficiently tightened right-side rear wheel lug nuts may allow a wheel to detach, while loose lower control arm ball joint fasteners may allow the ball joint to separate and cause a loss of vehicle control. On certain vehicles with the 2.0L Nu MPI engine, improperly heat-treated piston oil rings may lead to engine damage, stalling, or oil leaking onto hot exhaust components and raising the risk of fire. Waiting can leave a known safety concern unresolved, so arrange a free VIN check promptly.
