The
2013 Hyundai Accent enjoys its nickname as the "King of Subcompacts". It earned
that moniker by having a stylish exterior and producing high-ranking
performance. It was designed to feel much bigger than it looks. With the choice
between a four-door sedan and a five-door hatchback, the 2013 Hyundai Accent
makes everyone, and their wallets, happy. It is available in
three trims: the base, GLS, GS, and SE. Even the base GLS, which is offered for
an outstandingly low sticker price, features power windows, heated bodycolor
side mirrors, power locks with remote keyless entry, and a six-speaker stereo
system. The 2013 Hyundai Accent GS is similar to the GLS, but with a versatile
five-door design. The top-of-the-line SE features 16-inch alloy wheels, front
fog lights, side mirrors with turn-signal indicators, a rear spoiler, and much
more. The 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine makes 138-horsepower,
and 123 pound-feet of torque, the best in
the Subcompact Class. That gives the 2013 Hyundai Accent plenty of juice to
pull out onto the highway, merge with traffic, or simply keep up with your
daily commute. It is available in both manual and automatic transmission.
Six airbags are standard on the Accent, including aide and
side-curtain airbags. Strong anti-lock brakes, active headrests, and stability
control are also standard. The federal government awarded it a four-star over
all safety score. The IIHS has awarded it most "good" scores, the top score
available. The 2013 Hyundai Accent is available in many fun
and funky colors like Electrolyte Green, Clearwater Blue, and Boston Red.
Depending on the exterior color, the cloth interior is either Black or Gray.
